If you have a boat you can wharf at the port of Patra, Aegio, Diakofto or Akrata.

The carnival, the bazaars on September and the anniversary of the setting on fire of Klitoria by the Nazi on December the 13th at Klitoria.

MAJOR TOWNS / CITIES / VILLAGES
Patra
Patra, the third largest town of Greece, is the capital of the prefecture of Achaia and at the same time one of the most important commercial, tourist and transporting centers of the Peloponnese.

Aegio
Aegio is the second largest town of the prefecture and is located at the position of the ancient town. Aegio was also the first town that was exempted in 1821.

Kalavryta
Kalavryta is a historical hamlet and it is considered to be a much frequented tourist resort, especially during winter, due to the ski center at the mountain of Helmos.

Akrata
Akrata is a coastal village built in the heart of a natural environment blessed with incredible beaches and crystal waters.

Psathopyrgos
Psathopyrgos is a picturesque fisherman village and one of the most beautiful coastal resorts of the Corinthian gulf.

Rio
Rio is a main transportation hub between the Peloponnese and Central Greece. During the summer months, the nightlife of the town of Rio is unparalleled.

BY FERRY:
Patra is the main connection port with the Ionian Islands, Igoumenitsa and Italy. Additionally Rio is connected with Antirio, while Aegio is connected with Agio Nikolao and Patra with Ithaca and Sami.

From Piraeus Athens there are train itineraries to Patra all through the year. Patra is also connected with Argolida, Corinth, Messinia, Elia and Attica. Via the cog railway Diakofto is connected with Mega Spileo and Kalavryta.

BY BUS:
From Athens there are bus itineraries to Patra all through the year and the duration of the journey is 3 hours. There are also itineraries from Athens to Aegio and the duration of the journey is 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are also itineraries from Athens to the town of Kalavryta. Patra is also connected with Pyrgos, Tripoli, Thessaloniki, Messologi, Etoliko and Agrinio.
