Kalymnos or Pothia The town of Pothia is the capital and the main port of the island of Kalymnos. Spread at the foots and the slopes of two hills but even at the valley between them, the town of Kalymnos is a very traditional settlement full of whitewashed houses with colorful doors and windows.
Vathis Vathis is an extremely verdant settlement that resembles an oasis, in the heart of an arid, mountainous site. The houses, outspread all over the valley, come all the way to the cove of the natural gulf that looks like a fiord, composing a beautiful site.
Masouri Masouri is a popular tourist center, situated on the western side of the island of Kalymnos. Across the picturesque settlement you can see the scenic islet Telendos.
Myrties The innumerable myrtles gave their name to this beautiful coastal village with the imposing rocks that rise behind the settlement.
Panormos The village of Panormos is a tourist resort located at a region with lush verdure and two superb beaches, Linaria and Kantouni.

Opposite the tourist settlements Masouri and Myrties, you can see the picturesque islet Telendos that is located at a distance of only 10 minutes. | TRANSPORTATION: |
BY FERRY:
From Piraeus to the port of Kalymnos, there are frequent timetables on summer, while in winter the itineraries are more rare. The duration of the journey is 12 hours and 30 minutes. Kalymnos is also connected with the eastern Aegean islands and the other Dodekanese islands.

BY AIRPLANE: From the Eleftherios Venizelos airport at Spata to the island of Kalymnos, there are no direct flights. You can go to the island of Kos via airplane (55 minutes) and then you can take the boat from Mastihari and travel to the island of Kalymnos.
